This fully modernised stone-built farmhouse has one of the best views in Scotland, overlooking the mountainous island of Arran to the South and the flatter island of Bute to the east. It is in a 50 acre working farm with sheep and cattle and one can "get away from it all" for a comfortable vacation, yet is only 50 miles over spectacular roads from Glasgow airport. Every season has its own charm, with rhodedendrons growing wild along the route in May/June, the golden gorse in March/April and the heather in September. There is an art gallery and a sailing school in the picturesque village of Tighnabruaich and many places of interest to visit both across the Portavadie ferry to Tarbert, or the ferry to Bute, or along Loch Fyne. There are many walks and both fresh water and deepsea fishing. Best of all is a mile wide sandy beach just 5 minutes from the house.
