This is a quality log cabin with private hot tub built in a traditional "Solid Log" method using slow growing Baltic Scandinavian pine, and is part of an exclusive development which consists of nine similar self catering holiday lodge set around a Lochan in the centre.
Kippford forest to the side of our lodges attracts Red Squirrels; give them nuts and you can watch them feed. In the early hours of the morning you may hear the Badger foraging for food in the garden at the back.
Lochanview Log Cabins are in a much sought after area on the outskirts of the yachting village of Kippford, Dumfries and Galloway, an ideal location to enjoy the forests, countryside, and the Colvend coast of the Solway Firth, South West Scotland. Ideal for a sailing holiday, walking holiday or cycling holiday and with golf courses throughout the region.
Alongside the interior comforts there is a large garden with swings, a barbeque, and outside furniture ideal for al fresco dining. A sheltered outdoor private hot tub nestles in the trees at the side, an ideal place to relax and unwind. There is a large decked veranda also with outside furniture and two hammocks.
The development is landscaped with trees, shrubs and Galloway dyking, and provides ample space to park two cars. This quality log cabin, Scotland, will sleep 6 adults comfortably, sofa bed also available.
Well behaved pets are most welcome and must bring their own bed, kept of the soft furnishings and toiletted outwith the holiday lodge site.
